We are proud to announce that we
now offer Phillip Gavriel collection here on Beauniq!
Designer Phillip Gabriel Maroof was “quite literally born into the world of jewelry“. Having grown up in the jewelry business, Gabriel was thinking about great jewelry even as a young boy. After attending business school, he developed a distaste for mass produced goods and their production and decided to dedicate himself to designing beautiful handmade jewelry. He designs his jewelry to use only the finest materials, knowing that they would last. The greatest thing about the designs in the Phillip Gavriel collection is they draw from a wide variety of influences, which he says reflect his ever-changing personal tastes.
Here are some of our favorite Phillip Gavriel pieces, which we believe represent some of the best of the diverse collection:
These bracelets are part of Phillip Gavriel’s Organic Stone collection, which embraces the natural, complex beauty of gemstones. We love these bracelets above because the variety of metals and jewels make them a lot of fun to mix and match! The bracelets shown here are from left to right: rutilated quartz in black rhodium plated sterling silver, black onyx in gold plated sterling silver, rock crystal in black rhodium plated sterling silver, lapis lazuli in gold plated sterling silver, aqua chalcedony in rose gold plated sterling silver, and green onyx in yellow gold plated sterling silver.
Phillip Gavriel has a great men’s collection as well, featuring sterling silver and other more unconventional materials like leather and wood. This ring above features oxidized sterling silver and wood as well as black spinel. Many pieces outside of Phillip Gavriel’s men’s collection are unisex as well, so there are plenty of options for men who want to step up their look.
For a lover of history, nothing can beat Phillip Gavriel’s Venice collection, which features cameos made in Murano glass from real molds excavated from the famous ruins of Pompeii. Very similar pieces to this necklace and the two rings (green and pink) above can be found in museums around the world, but not in these colors! The green and pink used in these pieces make a REALLY classic design look effortlessly modern.
If you’d like a different flavor of Roman history, check out Phillip Gavriel’s Byzantine Collection, which is inspired by the Byzantine Empire and its captial Constantinople during the Middle Ages. This collection is ideal for someone who loves intricate, detail-laden pieces. These rings above with (from left to right) ruby, yellow sapphire, white sapphire, blue sapphire and pink amethyst feature five rows of gemstones encased in sterling silver filigree.
After a trip to Bali, designer Phillip Gabriel Maroof became fascinated with dragonflies, which inspired an entire Dragonfly collection. The intricate filigree that dominates much of the collection becomes even more impressive once you learn that every Phillip Gavriel Dragonfly piece is made by hand. These exquisite rings above are available with blue topaz, citrine, peridot, and amethyst.
The Rock Candy and Rock Candy Midnight collections are both all about wearing the biggest, most beautiful gemstones possible while still being the height of elegance. Above are a sterling silver necklace, a ring and earrings featuring freeform rutilated quartz, black spinel and 18k gold. Below are pieces from the Rock Candy Midnight collection (including these earrings and necklace with rhodolite), which offer an interesting twist on time-honored designs by featuring black sterling silver.
Phillip Gavriel’s Woven collection is filled with bracelets made from hundreds of pieces of sterling silver, woven together to create pieces that are so versatile they can be worn by anyone, with anything. These bracelets above are part of the Midnight Woven collection, featuring black sterling silver and (from left to right) blue topaz, white sapphire and amethyst. Check out our store for many other styles of this timeless bracelet.
Part of Phillip Gavriel’s Popcorn collection are the necklace, earrings and ring shown above, which featuring glowing milky aquamarine and black spinel, set in fun “popcorn” textured sterling silver. Popcorn textured sterling silver is a great, subtle way to add some textural pop to your look.
