About Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is well known not only as a precious metal, but as a metal with wonderful healing, anti-microbial properties. Since earliest of times, silver was used to fight bacteria and viruses, as well as purify drinkable water.
Many cultures believe in ability of silver to bring calm and balance to oneās soul. Being a metal of the Moon (as opposed to gold, which is metal of the Sun), silver is reflective, mirroring the soul and bringing wearer closer to harmony and protecting them from negativity.
Sterling silver is an alloy of silver, where 92.5% of mass is silver itself, and other 7.5% are other metals - usually copper - that add strength and durability to otherwise soft silver.
